Official site of our parent organization, the North Missoula Community Development Corporation. Park Slope Food Coop

Visit the food cooperative that helped define the principles and structure of the Missoula Community Market. The Park Slope Food Coop, located in Brooklyn, has survived for 30 years and boasts a membership of over 11,000.

Alternative Energy Resources Organization - AERO

AERO is a Montana based non-profit grassroots membership organization dedicated to sustainable resource use and community vitality. They promote sustainable agriculture, “smart growth” planning and transportation alternatives, renewable energy and conservation, environmental quality, and community self-reliance. AERO created the Buy Fresh Buy Local Campaign Network which encourages purchases of local goods. AERO image

Missoula Urban Demonstration Project - MUD

The Missoula Urban Demonstration Project (MUD) is a nonprofit organization that provides resources and education for building a sustainable community. MUD believes that people can fulfill their present needs without compromising the needs of future generations by making positive choices regarding food, transportation, shelter, and waste.

Garden City Harvest

Garden City Harvest (GCH) is a collaborative effort working to provide high quality produce to Missoulians in need while educating the Missoula community and University of Montana students about sustainable food systems and agriculture. They accomplish this through three vital programs: Community Gardens, GCH/EVST PEAS Farm, and Youth Harvest.

Missoula Food Bank

Missoula Food Bank distributes emergency food supplies to individuals and families and strives to reduce the incidence of hunger through a community of volunteers and resources. The Food Bank also developed programs to serve the community like the Kid's Cafe, Food Circle, ROOTS, and Food Share.
